A number of you have been saying that your keen to get out on the water

so we’ve scheduled in and EXTRA TRIP for you.

On SUNDAY 21st AUGUST we’ll be doing a trip on the River Wey

from Byfleet to Shepperton, a relatively short trip of no more than five miles,

SUITABLE FOR ALL !

At the beginning of the trip, if it’s running is a nice little play wave,

so whilst the shuttle is taking place a chance for you to dip your nose in and play on the wave.

For the rest of you our coaches will be giving you some training on the waves,

breaking in, breaking our, ferry gliding, all useful little moves which you’ll need if you want to

progress onto whitewater in due course.

We’ll be announcing soon a beginners transition to Whitewater weekend in October,

aimed at those that have joined the club over the past few months, if your intending

to join us on that we’d strongly advise you to take part in this trip and build up some skills !

A nice little meander then along the scenic Wey, but fear not, unlike the Loddon, no spider sanctuaries to deal with !

Something different however is that we paddle right past the Brooklands Aircraft Museum and you’ll see one or two

aircraft parked virtually at the water’s edge !

At the end of the trip, again dependant on water levels, a nice little wave to shoot and then play on before then shooting

a small drop into the river Thames below.

As always, we finish at a riverside pub for a sociable drink or two.
