AUGUST
Sun 14th Whitewater Kayaking on Lee Valley Olympic Whitewater Course
an exclusive CAP only course assessment and then a private hire of the Legacy Course.
Sun 21st EXTRA TRIP ….. River Wey … from Byfleet Mill to Shepperton. Start off by playing and practising moving
water strokes on the playwave then a lovely summer paddle, going past the Brooklands Aircraft Museum.
Mon 29th CAP Beach Party …join Cap, in the sun, on the beach, on and in the sea at West Wittering, , FUN, FUN, FUN !
SEPTEMBER
Weekend Cardiff International Whitewater “Paddlefest” and Welsh Surfing Weekend
03rd – 4th On Saturday try out all the demo boats, paddle the “raft free” course and join in the
novelty events such as Demolition Duckies and Lilo races. Summer Whitewater FUN !
A meal out Saturday night then Sunday surfing, kite flying etc off a South Wales beach
Wed 14th POOL SESSIONS are back .. First Pool session of the season. an extended 90 minute session,
will either be run as one 90 min or two 45 mins sessions, dependant on numbers. BANSTEAD POOL
Sun 18th Family “action” day at Bedgebury Pinetum, High ropes, Mountain bikes, walks and picnic
Weekend Whitewater Paddling at Cardiff Whitewater Course on the Saturday
24th – 25th Spectating Formula 750 Motor sport in Wales on Sunday
Sun 25th River Wey … Farncombe to Burpham .. new to us ! a few weirs to shoot & play.
Wed 28th POOL SESSION at Banstead Pool 9.00 – 10.00pm
OCTOBER
Sun 9th River Wandle … If the water’s up, paddle this swift flowing urban gem. salom around
motorbikes and shopping trolleys, duck unto low bridges and survive the 700m long pitch black tunnel
Ideal final river practise for those going to Wales next weekend, could make all the difference to ability !
Wed 12thh POOL SESSION at Banstead Pool 9.00 – 10.00pm .. Skills training pre south Wales trip.
Weekend Beginners Introduction to Whitewater. A Grade 2 - 3 Whitewater trip in the Black Mountains of Wales.
14th – 16th Paddling some of the best Grade 2 - 3 in the country, a chance for all newcomers to crank up their paddling !
Wed 26thth POOL SESSION at Banstead Pool 9.00 – 10.30pm, an extended 90 minute half term session
